Back In The Day Show

Yeah! We’re going retro on ourselves. That’s how retro we are. It’s episode #0 of the Back in the Day Show, the very first show that started it all, even predating episode #1. It was originally intended to be a practice run to test out the recording equipment and to feel out the structure of the show. Now it’s being released under the guise of “bonus material.” The audio quality is a little flaky, but the entertainment value definitely trumps any inconvenience. The guys talk about the 1989 movie, The Wizard, along with Josh’s disdain for the Power Glove and the guys’ fond memories of Nintendo Pocket Power. Then Ashley joins in to discuss recollections of Super Mario Bros. 3 as well has her endearing emotional attachment to Mario. The guys then bust out another NES tune to give listeners another chance to win a free T-shirt from 80stees.com in Name That Game. Finally, Snake-eyes is given his due in this week’s G. I. Joe Hall of Fame. Now, “just sit down and have fun, damnit!”
