For as great an 80s movie as The Karate Kid was, I find it a little disheartening that most of the actors(with the exception Elisabeth of Shue) never amounted to anything outside of the franchise(William Zabka= one of the greatest villain actors…EVER). Which is why I was happy to find this….I doubt the band had to pay anyone in this video(Including Dennis ‘Mr. Belding’ Haskins) much of anything.
Yeah, they’re pretty much all there…William Zabka, Ralph Macchio…Even Rob ‘Body Bag’ Garrison(who is the best part of the movie). No Elisabeth Shue(real career), and Pat Morita(dirt nap). Definitely a case of a video making the song better.

This video has left me virtually speechless, and the tune is embedded in my brain. I will say this though: the only thing that’s missing is Pat Morita riding along with Ralph Macchio at the end yelling Banzai!
